Metropolitan Imageworks

I’m not sure I have much more to say than CUTENESS OVERLOAD!!!  These three little girls (two sisters and one friend) stopped by the Metimages studio Sunday morning for a themed portrait session.  After the initial warm-up period they were so much fun! I cannot wait to see what the moms come up with for the next session.

I met Tammy when I was 9 years old and my family moved to Skokie. In fact she was my very first friend and sleepover! Now she is the proud mom of two delightful children – Ryan and Zoe.  Tammy and the kids snuck into my studio a few weeks ago for portraits to surprise their dad for his birthday!

Then a week later I got to photograph Ryan and Zoe and their cousin’s for their grandpa’s bday gift!  I love my job!

This little spitfire visited my studio a few weeks ago to get some headshots done. She asked her mom if she could get into TV or commercials. I know for a fact she has the best, most outgoing personality. I’m still not sure who had more fun -Abby or me! Good luck and I can’t wait to say I knew Abby when!

Darling Tori paid a visit to the Metropolitan Imageworks studio last week for her 9 month portraits.  This is a superb time for portraits as most often the subject can sit up, can make faces, can smile at my noises and antics but is not yet mobile enough to run away from (or scurry towards) me and my camera.

One of my favorite summer time traditions is Kammy’s birthday portraits! I have been the family photographer of choice for her one year, two year and now three year portraits!

Of course we have to sneak in a few of mom and dad and big sis, Brianna! By now I know for a fact, Kammy loves my camera!

Ezra and Zora cried through their newborn session with me. They squirmed and cried through their three month session with me.  This past weekend, I paid them a visit and photographed their six month session and I got some funny faces and some smiles and some more funny faces.  I think by now they are just starting to get warmed up to me and my camera!

As a full service photographer that photographs weddings AND portraits, I do get residual work from my clients. After the wedding, families are started and families grow. Gavin and Jack are the sons of past wedding clients of Metropolitan Imageworks.  I haven’t seen Gavin since he was about four months old and now he is almost two years old and fast and chatty.  Jack is eight months and he has perfected sitting up all by himself.  Their family visited the studio over the weekend and we had a blast inside and out.

Tyler came to Naperville for a studio visit last week.  I’ve known his mom for a few years, we helped her design and assemble her wedding invites, I photographed her wedding and recently her sister-in-law’s wedding. Naturally it’s par for the course that I got to photograph Tyler for his one year portraits!

Suzanne is a former bride of mine from New York. On a recent visit to Chicago she treated herself to an Intimate Moment session with me to celebrate her current physique and state of mind.

Sofia’s portrait session marked the final session during my studio kick-off week. And I must say it was a great success! Sofia is a darling almost 3-year-old and she was no where near shy. She danced. She jumped. She smiled. She spun circles around me.  And you all thought I was high-energy!
