Metropolitan Imageworks

Little Taylor was very anxious to greet the world and made her entrance a few days earlier than expected! Mom, dad, big sis’ Mikayla and Taylor happily posed for me last week during Taylor’s very first professional portrait session. (OK, OK it is technically her 2nd as I had the pleasure of photographing her mom’s maternity session last month!)  I think Taylor is a natural in front of my camera and I am excited to watch her grow up!

I carted along my awesome husband and silly dog for this shoot and Taylor’s dad whipped up some incredible enchiladas and we all stuffed ourselves silly after we were done with portraits. I think I just might make meals a requirement in my payment terms.

Katie has become quite the Metimages pro!  Last weekend marked her third annual portrait session and she has the smiling and posing and natural talent down pat.  We decided to forgo the backdrop this time around and just ran around and played. OK who am I kidding? Katie played and I ran around after her each time she moved to a new spot.  She has a little sibling due later this summer, so I am very excited to work with Katie and her family again!

The last time I saw Brody he was six months old and had just mastered sitting up by himself.  Now he is 15 months and loves to walk and run and explore! We spent some time in his home but he was feeling a bit of cabin fever so we ventured to one of the common rooms in his condo building with much more space for runnning around in circles.. And run around in circles he did!
