Metropolitan Imageworks

Aiden is one of a handful of Metimages subjects who shares a birthday with me, June 21st. Summer Solstice babies rule!  I had previously photographed Aiden for his three-month and seven-month milestones and this last shoot for his one-year session rounded it out.  He sure has grown into a fun little boy – crawling, walking, pointing, giggling and of course finding the snacks that mom packed!

Here’s the little man back again on the Metimages blog, this time for his nine-month portrait session.  I love his smile, I love his faces, I love his hair but most of all I love his chins!

Thankfully Monday’s thunderstorms abated for the afternoon and it was all systems go for my portrait session with the whole  Ziemer family at Fabyan Park!

Little Sam hammed it up for me a couple weeks ago both inside and out! We started with a session at his home and then his folks and I packed him up and headed to Fabyan Park in Batavia, right where I photographed his mom & dad’s engagement photos a few years ago.  Now Sam is mobile and he was a fast one to keep up with. I’m pretty sure between his exploring and zooming around and my trying to get him to smile antics we really tired him out! His folks can thank me now!

Yes I know, I am very behind at posting teasers to the blog. Please forgive me. I met up with Isaac and his folks a couple weeks ago. Larry and Mary are Metropolitan Imageworks wedding clients from almost four years ago and we went back to the park in the west ‘burbs where they had their first glance on their wedding day. How cool is that? Isaac showed me the full spectrum of his personality and I loved seeing his many expressions.

We re-created a pose from Larry & Mary’s wedding day, this time Isaac was included! I sense a theme, let’s do this again next year!

I spent Tuesday morning with new arrival, Micah.  I love photographing his family’s portrait sessions as they live so close to me I could walk there. (And I have before!)  Micah was joined by his mom, dad and big brother Asher for a Metimages portrait session documenting him in all his newborn soft, smooshy, and bendy glory. Of course we also squeezed in some big brother/little brother and family shots as well.

If you have been following my  blog for any length of time then I’m sure you’ve enjoyed little glimpses of Jacob aka Coby.  It all started with his mom’s awesome maternity session. We had so much fun and mom and dad loved the images so much that they went ahead and booked my Milestones Package, so I can document Coby’s changes every three months during his first year.  He was such a little trooper for his newborn session, he teased me during his three-month session and finally the real stud came alive during his six-month session last week. Honestly, his giggles and belly laughs triggered my own giggles and belly laughs.

Looking forward to Coby’s Nine-Month Portrait Session later this summer!
