Our star Coby is back again.  You may recall seeing his Milestones from October 2009-October 2010, with mom’s maternity session as a preview and then Coby’s 1st birthday party pumpkin celebration.  It’s time for another portrait session as Coby is growing by leaps and bounds and has the cutest little personality.  Mom and dad are expecting again and Coby will be a big brother this fall and I just know he’ll do a find job!

This is a perfect specimen of a pregnant belly! Kira is due in two weeks with their very first baby and I cannot wait to see her in action as a mom. Andy is over the moon delighted to become a dad and seeing the two of them together during this special time is so sweet.

Join me on October 10th, 23rd, 24th and 30th for the first set of Fall Photo Days.  I will be stationed at locations around the Chicagoland area and offering time slots throughout each day for location portrait sessions.  I’m available to photograph babies, children, families (both large and small group), seniors, head shots, pets, engagement sessions and anniversary sessions. Any type of outdoor portrait session, really! The session fee is $300 (or $500 for groups of 7+ subjects.)

Choose your date and location and send me an email to request a booking packet and contract.  Once I receive your booking fee your time is secured.  Simply meet me at the designated location and I’ll photograph your session.

Online gallery for 90 days
One 8×10 professional print
Disc of edited images with personal usage rights

Your booking packet includes information about session attire, what to expect from the session and next steps.

Now is the time to get your portrait session done and have us help you with holiday prints, greeting cards and large wall prints. We also have lots of items appropriate for holiday gift giving!

In the event of inclement weather I will designate a back-up for indoor portraits or you can transfer your session to a weekday prior to November 1st.

Natalie and Joe came out to the Metimages Studio in May for Natalie’s Maternity Portrait Session and we had a blast!  Together we chose outfits, made Natalie get up and sit down and get up again (Joe helped a bit), played with different backdrops and backgrounds and overall spent a wonderful afternoon capturing an amazing time in their lives. Can’t wait to meet the little guy soon!

Amanda and Dan, one of my 2007 wedding couples, scheduled some time with me last week for their maternity session.  They’re expecting the arrival of their daughter anytime between now and the next two weeks although Dan has begged and pleaded for his little girl to hang in there until after this weekend as there is a very important beer festival on his calendar.  Here’s to sending some more stay put vibes and dust!  Can’t wait to meet her!

Amanda also treated Dan to a birthday tutoring session with me and we scheduled that earlier this week.  I challenged him and quizzed him and went over some hands on shooting techniques and spent some additional time giving him tips and ideas for all the great photo moments with his new daughter. I’m personally very excited to see those results!

Karly, her husband and their daughter traveled a decent distance (an hour and a half) to visit my studio in Naperville for a maternity portrait session. I am so excited to be a part of this very special time in their lives. It was so much fun going through the outfit prep, chatting about picture ideas and of course doing the actual shoot with all of them.  Karly had the perfect baby bump and she is only 30 weeks along. Her husband, Pierre, was very good about humoring us and his own outfit changes and taking direction.  Their  18-month old daughter, Mikayla, was a bundle of energy and had as much fun posing for photos as playing with my dog and my shoes!

Thanks again for making the trip all the way to the Metimages studio. Can’t wait to see you all again when Taylor arrives!

Natalie received a Metropolitan Imageworks maternity session as a shower gift from some very close friends, complete with being pampered and having her hair and make-up done by Nikolina at Moya Make-Up. I love sharing in this very amazing and personal time with my clients. Metimages maternity sessions are filled with eager anticipation and glimpses of what’s to come.

Erica and Michael invited me out last week for a maternity portrait session to document this very amazing and very special time in their lives.  I had worked with Erica previously about a year ago capturing her beauty in an IM session. I like to think I had a hand in all this. :WINK: :WINK:
